On Friday, 13 November 2026, we invite you to an exceptional evening celebrating the art of James Ensor.

For its seventh edition, Le Sanglier des Ardennes and Wout Bru invite you to experience an exceptional 11-course dinner inspired by the menu of a wedding banquet painted by James Ensor on 10 November 1896. This artistic menu was created for the wedding of the son of his friend Ernest Rousseau, who had invited the renowned painter to capture this festive occasion.

This year, history and art come together in the prestigious setting of Le Sanglier des Ardennes, enhanced by an exhibition of works by the artist. The gastronomic experience of the evening is entrusted to our chef, Wout Bru, who brings this historic banquet back to life, reinterpreting each course in a contemporary style while preserving the generous spirit of the era.
