Enjoy the comfort of our stylish, generously proportioned rooms. Grab a bite to eat in one of three on-site restaurants, each with its own concept. Relax and unwind in our wellness centre and treat yourself to something special from one of our boutiques. The hotel also boasts a large, versatile function room for private events and seminars, which can be configured according to your requirements. And if that’s not enough, we have a wide range of sports and cultural activities to choose from. If you have any questions or require further information, we are always here to help.

Steeped in tradition

Le Sanglier des Ardennes dates back 75 years. In 2017, the hotel was taken over by La Petite Merveille under the ownership of Bart Maerten and Marc Coucke, who have grand plans to renovate and expand the premises – catering to guests’ needs and expectations while remaining true to the hotel’s tradition and reputation.

A new beginning

The transformation will take place over several years. Phase one of the plan focused on maintaining Le Sanglier des Ardennes’ standing as a fine-dining destination.

Foodies have three restaurants to choose from, all under the expert eye of Wout Bru, a Michelin-starred chef and Bart and Marc’s business partner. Our fine-dining establishment serving up welcoming and elegant dishes. At La Bru’sserie, the sharing-food menu showcases the full breadth of our head chef’s talent. And Wagyu, which opened in late 2019, is a haven for lovers of grilled meat and fish.

Following the work, completed in september 2020, our hotel has a whole new look and has cemented its reputation as culture and food destination nestled in leafy surroundings – just 1 hour 15 minutes from Brussels, 45 minutes from Liège and Namur, and 2 hours from Ghent and Antwerp.
